GG&G Remington 870P, 11/87P & Mossberg 590A1 Side Sling Mount Plates

!

Side mounting is the only way to properly mount a "3 Point" type tactical sling. This sling mount plate installs underneath the magazine cap and  locks in place by ball detent. The sling plate is made from 4130 steel, has a parkerized finish and accepts up to 1 1/4" wide slings.

The following models are available:

GG&G M-4 / CAR-15 Receiver Sling Mount

!

Allows receiver side mounting of slings on collapsible stock M-4/CAR-15 type weapons. Right hand and left hand specific versions are available.

Note: While this is an easily accomplished, non-permanent modification of the weapon, qualified armorer/gunsmith installation is recommended.

GG&G items will not be accepted for return if their original packaging has been opened. Please feel free to call or email us if you have any questions as to whether or not a particular GG&G item will be appropriate for your weapon or sling mounting needs.

GG&G M-4 / CAR-15 "Agency"

!

Certain local, state and federal agencies have now established policies indicating that if a tool needs to be used to remove a part of the weapon to install a new accessory it cannot be done unless the weapon is sent to the agency's armorer or gunsmith for the installation. This has caused a problem for some agencies due to time constraints and the absence of local agency armorers. GG&G has developed the New Agency Rear Sling Adapter to assist these agencies with this issue. The new GG&G Agency Rear Sling Adapter only requires that the rear assembly of the collapsible buttstock be removed. No tools required. The new adapter then slides over the tube and, once in proper position, securely tightens behind the castle lock nut. The system uses two socket head screws for fastening, so that once tightened there is no chance the sling adapter will come loose. The Agency Rear Sling Adapter is manufactured for professional use from 7075 aluminum and hard anodized to meet Mil-Specs. A 9/64" wrench is included for your convenience.

The front "Sling Thing" attaches to the standard AR-15 / CAR-15 front sight assembly offering a sling attachment mounted high enough to prevent rifle roll as well as allowing sling attachment for weapons equipped with the Surefire Millennium weapon light assemblies. The rear Sling Thing is mounted to the side of the collapsible buttstock on CAR-15 and M-4 type carbines. The "Sling Thing" is easy to install, and remove. It's ambidextrous, and there is no gunsmithing required. The "Sling Thing" utilizes M-16 type 1 1/4" sling loops and is phosphate finished to match your weapon.
